Organisationen för
Kulturellt Samförstånd

To work for cultural understanding is to invest in peace. By embracing diversity, we can find new perspectives that enrich our own lives. This is why cultural exchange is so valuable – it helps us grow and improve our shared human experience, and to build a community of understanding.

Organisationen för
Kulturellt Samförstånd

Orgaisationen för kulturellt samförstånd (OKS) is a non-profit organization that is politically and religiously independent. We work for a Sweden against racism and antisemitism.

In the wake of the violent events of October 7, 2023, there has been a troubling rise in threats against individuals of Jewish backgrounds and an increase in hate crimes driven by antisemitic motives, both in Sweden and globally. This situation is compounded by racist acts targeting other minority communities around the world. Now, more than ever, it is imperative to actively combat racism, antisemitism, and polarization.

Our goal is for people from different backgrounds to stand side by side to counteract racism together. This is achieved through knowledge, education, and activities focused on promoting cultural understanding as a catalyst to collective strength.
